This was my first experience with Dave and the team at Bavarian, and I can't say enough good things. When I called last week and explained the problem (oil filter housing gasket) and the price quote from the dealership, Dave explained the nature of the problem, the frequency with which it occurs, why it should be fixed soon and the cost for Bavarian to fix it. Not surprisingly, the price was about half of what the dealership charged me. I dropped the car off last night after hours (tough to get to Winchester before 5:30, so the key drop is a convenient option) and Dave called at about 11:00 this morning. They fixed the oil filter housing gasket but discovered that there was a light on suggesting a problem with the passenger side air bag. After securing my permission to proceed with the $105 diagnostic test, he called me back a few hours later to report that it may just be a light that needed to be reset. Bottom line, if the light stays off there is no problem. And, he elected not to charge me the $105 diagnostic fee. Clear, communicative, and transparent. What a breath of fresh air. Adios Herb Chambers!
