This was my first experience with Dave and the team at Bavarian, and I can't say enough good things. When I called last week and explained the problem (oil filter housing gasket) and the price quote from the dealership, Dave explained the nature of the problem, the frequency with which it occurs, why it should be fixed soon and the cost for Bavarian to fix it. Not surprisingly, the price was about half of what the dealership charged me. I dropped the car off last night after hours (tough to get to Winchester before 5:30, so the key drop is a convenient option) and Dave called at about 11:00 this morning. They fixed the oil filter housing gasket but discovered that there was a light on suggesting a problem with the passenger side air bag. After securing my permission to proceed with the $105 diagnostic test, he called me back a few hours later to report that it may just be a light that needed to be reset. Bottom line, if the light stays off there is no problem. And, he elected not to charge me the $105 diagnostic fee. Clear, communicative, and transparent. What a breath of fresh air. I have been going to Bavarian Performance Group (BPG) for several years now. I have taken my previous two cars, a 5 series, and mini cooper here for service. Dave is very professional and friendly, and the whole staff really cares about the customers. Recently, I took my still under warranty 550i for diagnostics to BPG as the local BMW dealer was not able fix the issue. BPG acknowledge the humming issue. They recommended that I take the car back to the dealer as the car is still under warranty to replace the wheel bearing (costs $800 to replace). The best part is Dave waived the diagnostics fee as I have been a long time customer!! Needless to say, I will be going back tp BPG for all my non warranty service.

I was happy with the service. Dave made it very easy. He help get me back home after I dropped the car off and made arrangements for me to pickup after hours. The car came back clean and fixed.
